Concentric Stories 5

During the Covid 19 pandemic, I lived and worked in the Seacoast Region of New Hampshire.

At the start of the pandemic, my days were spent working in a law office. Since I was the bookkeeper working in a secluded office I did not see clients.

Something I learned about myself during the Covid 19 pandemic is I enjoy staying home cooking, gardening and reading.

I would like future New Hampshire generations to know those of us who followed Winston Churchill’s advice to “ Keep calm and carry on,” managed to get through the pandemic fairly well. We took all reasonable precautions, like wearing masks, social distancing, and avoiding large indoor gatherings but continued to live our lives with these necessary modifications. I have a friend who refused to leave her house or let anyone in for two years. (Except to get vaccinated.) I had to stand in the yard and speak to her from 8 feet away from her window. All deliveries were sprayed with lysol. She made COVID the focus of her life. That’s not a healthy way to live.
